Goodyear Giving: Hurricane Helene Relief Initiative
This is a joint effort by various Charlotte, NC small businesses. We are deeply committed to aiding those affected by the devastation of Hurricane Helene, and have taken the lead on supporting relief efforts for and through the Crossroads Church in West Asheville NC, who has taken a leadership role in the disaster response.
Our mission is to provide direct support to victims, emergency workers, and recovery personnel who are facing tremendous challenges in the wake of this disaster. We are collecting funds to facilitate relief efforts, ensuring that essential items and food reach those who need them most — all being distributed through the Crossroads Church and into the hardest hit communities.
Some of the items we will be supplying include axes and chainsaws for the local unfunded fire departments, bags and boxes of all sizes, cleaning supplies, water, rubber boots, ready-made meals, N95 masks, DEET bug spray, storage, bathrooms, showers, and more.
We will be making numerous trips to the area to disperse supplies through the Crossroads Church, located at 20 S. Bear Creek Road in West Asheville, which has become a significant relief distribution center for the region. The Crossroads Church is a neighbor to our RiverBlue multifamily development, and they are a terrifically organized and effective relief partner for distribution through all of Western North Carolina.
Your generous contributions will help us make a meaningful difference in the hardest hit communities of North Carolina, as they begin to rebuild and recover. Thank you for your support!
Catalyst Capital Partners, a multifamily development and investment company, and Built On Hospitality, a Charlotte-based hospitality group, are partnering together on this effort.
