GrassRoots Conservation A NJ Nonprofit Corporation

Alex and Andrew Noviello, high school students from New Jersey, are recipients of the William T. Hornaday Silver Medal, scouting's highest honor in conservation. Now they need your help to continue their fruitful work for the environment through a new nonprofit venture!

GrassRoots Conservation is a 501c3 nonprofit corporation dedicated to disseminating the conservation movement through providing grants and advice to individuals pursuing their own conservation projects in their communities. We have already facilitated the donation of over $10,000 to projects around New Jersey, involving more than 250 volunteers to complete over 3,000 service hours. Large environmental nonprofits tend to focus on awareness and projects outside of local communities. While this is extremely valuable in fostering public interest and desire to help the environment, individuals who seek to make a difference through their own work are often left unable to acquire the means to do so. That is why we founded GrassRoots Conservation - to empower passionate individuals and small groups, namely youth, to pursue impactful environmental initiatives.
