Greater Works Outreach Prayer and Deliverance Center Inc.

Greater Works Outreach was more than just a church building, for over 20 years it was a 2nd home for many people.
It was a place where strangers became friends and those friends became family. Chances are if you're reading this you're probably part of that family. Maybe you raised your children here or you yourself was raised here or maybe someone brought you in to visit. Maybe you attended our plays and workshops. Maybe you are that person that came in and got help finding a job, or the one that needed emergency shelter or help getting into a treatment center. Maybe you came to our food pantry, maybe you were one of the families that we were able to Bless with our annual turkey giveaway and/or our annual Christmas Toys from Jesus giveaway. Maybe you attended our free  dinners, you know the ones where the church families came together and did a buffet style dinner on Easter, Mother's Day, Father's Day, Thanksgiving & Christmas for the community. If so  you are part of this family.  Love has hands and feet is what the Pastors would say. Within these walls not only was there Prayer, Worship and Deliverance, there was laughter, love and celebrations of birthdays, marriages and new life. When one celebrated we all celebrated. There were also heartaches and heartbreaks, and shared tears of celebrating a life that has passed on. When one hurts we all hurt. We are family. Some have stayed and some have gone but we are family. Once family always family. We are not a perfect place, we've  made mistakes. We've had to forgive and ask for forgiveness. But in all things we strive to do God's perfect will and fulfill His Great Commission.
That is why this go fund me has been posted. A fire took away our church/our home. But not our spirit and not our desire to continue to serve our God, the community and the less fortunate.  We know in good times and bad times God Is Sovereign and God is Good. That is why we're asking for your help. We want raise enough to put a deposit on another building that will allow us to continue to do the work God has called us to do. 

We know this has been a very trying time for many. Anything you can do to help will greatly help. Any donation will help make an impact. Thank you in advance and please keep our Pastors in your prayers. God Bless you all.
