Herat, Afghanistan Earthquake Relief to Victims
Hand To Hand Sadaqah Group is organizing a fundraiser to support the victims of the devastating 6.3 magnitude earthquake that struck Herat, Afghanistan. This natural disaster has caused immense destruction, leaving countless individuals and families in urgent need of assistance with over 2,000 deaths. Many men are digging up dead bodies, relief is urgently needed in this poor province. Our charity currently has boots on the ground including volunteers and a doctor that is assisting victims.

Our goal is to provide immediate relief and aid to those affected by the earthquake with boots on the ground currently. The funds raised will be utilized to provide essential supplies such as food, clean water, medical assistance, and shelter to the victims. Additionally, we aim to support the long-term recovery efforts by assisting in the reconstruction of homes, schools, and infrastructure in the affected areas.

By contributing to this fundraiser, you will be making a direct impact on the lives of those who have been severely affected by this tragedy. Your generous donations will help alleviate their suffering and provide them with the necessary resources to rebuild their lives.

Help build a Medical Clinic in Herat, Afghanistan
Hand To Hand Sadaqah Group is a 501(C)(3) nonprofit sending 100% of donations to build a medical clinic in Herat, Afghanistan. Doctors are giving free time and care to treat 550+ children with cancer who need blood transfusions, but they need adequate space to continue. Desperate families are traveling from provinces across the country, miles for this free care, many camping outside the hospital. For the past five years, families have been bringing single nails with them in order to hold up their I.V bags to the wall in order to STAND and get treatment because there is simply no space. Please also keep in mind many are unpaid for labor over the past 5 months because of the economic situation, using what little they have to travel for this care — some only to be told there is simply no room. After careful surveys of both patient families, doctors, construction, and engineers, Hand To Hand Sadaqah Group has calculated the exact cost of $95700.00 in order to reach the goal of building this clinic in Herat. Relief for displaced families in Afghanistan
The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) said: “Sadaqah (giving charity) wipes out sins like water extinguishes fire.” One’s true wealth is the good they do in this world. The truth is, no person has experienced becoming too poor by giving - Allah (SWT) has promised those who contribute to charity that giving charity is equivalent to loaning God a loan, and it will always comeback multiplied to them.

The people in Afghanistan are bleeding as a result of the Taliban becoming dictators over the country and are attempting total control over the different Provinces. More than 300,000 Afghans and their families have become displaced. In Afghanistan, we are witnessing people living in slums and hiding from danger in hilltops without access to basic necessities afraid for their lives. Hundreds of thousands have lost the very place they’ve called home their entire lives - and others are reliving a nightmare of traumas caused by the Taliban invasion in 1996. Our volunteers on the ground are working hard to facilitate most urgent medical cases and assist with surgeries, dialysis, blood tests, and more. We are also sponsoring families and individuals who need help restarting their lives. Our goal is not only to give a helping hand but to tend to rebuilding their lives so they can provide for themselves in the future. Right now is an especially troubling time for Afghans as they are rejected by neighboring countries or treated like second class citizens for escaping from a war they never signed up for.
