Caballeros Battery and Brass Need Your Help!
The Caballeros have entered their 77th year of teaching the marching arts and competing. We were the 2021 DCA Undefeated World Champions and our Percussion Section won DCA High Percussion in 2022.

Over the years equipment goes through wear and tear which needs to be replaced or upgraded. We have located a battery set we would like to purchase however, we need your help in raising the money. Our brass equipment is way overdue as well to give that Caballero's strong brass sound!!!

Time is of the essence! Please help us raise the money quickly as the competitive season is around the corner. Many thanks to all that will help us in this endeavor!

The Hawthorne Caballeros have many extra expenses this year, including an unexpected $8,000 truck repair and bus costs. One of our trucks needs a repair this week, just when we start the traveling season - fuel injectors and brakes. Also, bus rentals are soaring to $2500 a bus with the fuel costs, and we need to rent at least 6 to complete our season. Can you help us make it to DCA? All donations received will go towards these expenses!

Our 75th Anniversary year was challenging, but the drum corps stayed focused and achieved a fantastic season, winning their 10th DCA 2021 World Championship Title! The Hawthorne Caballeros have set many records over their 76-year history. They have won the DCA World Championships 10 times, the American Legion National Title 16 times and the New Jersey State American Legion title 43 times, to name a few.

Our goal is to provide an environment for our members, who range from high school students to college professors, that fosters continued education in the competitive field of the marching arts.

About Hawthorne Caballeros Drum And Bugle Corps

The Hawthorne Caballeros are a world-famous drum corps located in Hawthorne, New Jersey. Founded in 1946, the Hawthorne Caballeros have won a number of titles; 10 DCA World Championships, 16 American Legion National Titles, 17 National Dream Contests, and 43 New Jersey State American Legion Titles. We have completed6 undefeated seasons, two of which were consecutive in 1984 and 1985. In 1989 during DCAs 25th anniversary celebration, the Hawthorne Caballeros were voted the most favorite all-age drum corps of all time. The Caballeros has a deep and rich history. Our goal is to provide an environment for our members, who range in age from high school students to full time employed adults and beyond, that fosters continued education in the competitive field of the marching arts.
