Healing Herd Therapy Farm

We’ve all experienced the mental and physical benefits of interacting in nature – whether cuddling an animal or taking a peaceful forest walk. This is especially true for children and teens facing anxiety, depression, bullying, substance abuse, and technology addiction. This is why we started Healing Herd Therapy Farm. We believe that land, animals, and humans all are interconnected. Experiencing this first-hand, young people develop understanding and empathy for animals, other people, and in turn themselves. Beginning this fall, we will offer free animal-assisted therapy and humane education to individuals and families in our community. Our farm is much more than just animals, soil, grass, and plants. It is a living classroom and a wise teacher.

But we cannot do this alone.
