Heart of Ohio Trail, Inc.

You can make a difference with a donation to the Heart of Ohio Trail to build the Midway Welcome Station at Centerburg. The village is the geographical center of Ohio and the midpoint of the Ohio to Erie Trail. The station will be Centerburg’s front door welcoming trail visitors to the village.

 

The midway station will be located at the end of North Hartford Avenue adjacent to the bicycle repair station and the welcome to Centerburg and the midpoint of the Ohio to Erie Trail selfie sign. The station design echoes the railroad legacy of the Centerburg depot which stood at this location. Trail visitors will enjoy restroom facilities, running water, and a shelter with tables and benches.
