Today, five children will die as a result of child abuse and Christian Griffith is running from New York City to San Francisco to help save them.
Griffith, a survivor of child sexual abuse, is partnering with Help For Children, a globally recognized non-profit, to raise $1 million for the prevention and treatment of child abuse.

It took Christian 30 years to finally talk about his abuse. For three decades, he placed his trauma on the highest shelf and hoped that if it remained out of sight, it would remain out of mind.
But demons are smarter than that.
While he was busy building a public façade, Christian's repressed guilt and shame brought on a lifetime of anger, dishonesty, broken relationships, and a lack of self-worth.
Now, Christian is talking about his abuse loudly and spreading the message that treatment is the only way out. Let's say that again. Treatment is the only way out.

With the help of his current partner, Lindsay, Christian sought therapy for the first time two years ago and is still in treatment today. They now have a brand new baby girl who inspires Christian, every day, to continue healing and creating a safer world for children everywhere.

While the first step is acknowledgment, there's a lot to be done after that. Right now, Christian is processing the reality of what happened to him, digging deep and discovering the multitude of ways his abuse has impacted his life. And he is beginning to walk through the fire, addressing each behavior that he wants to change.
This all happens in therapy. It is the only way to heal.
