At HELP Club Scranton, as part of HELP Foundation, we believe every child deserves a chance to learn and thrive. We're a passionate group of volunteers working alongside the established HELP Foundation (link: https://www.helpfoundation.org/) to support destitute children in India. These children face immense challenges, often lacking access to basic necessities like education.

Here's how we make a difference:

Tutoring: We provide one-on-one and small group tutoring to children in grades 2-8, focusing on core subjects like math, reading, and science. This personalized support helps them catch up, build confidence, and reach their full potential.

Creative Fundraising: Through engaging events like Krispy Kreme fundraisers, Talent shows, and Walkathons, we raise crucial funds to directly support the HELP Foundation's work. Your participation in these events is a fantastic way to have fun while making a real impact.

About the Artist: Sivatmika is HELP Foundation volunteer and a passionate dancer and artist, currently a senior at Iselin High School in NJ.

The event is free to join, but any donations are welcome

Art supplies : A4 sheet or sketch book, pencil, eraser, oil pastel or crayon and laptop/any electronic device to join the zoom meeting.

Age : Kids 6+ years to Adults

For the past 30 years, the HELP Foundation has helped destitute children in India and provided a platform for over a 1,000 children in the USA to serve India. Every year, the HELP Walkathon is held the Sunday after Labor Day at Manasquan Reservoir in Howell, NJ. It's a fun-filled day with free breakfast and free lunch. Students raise money and submit their donations when they register.

This is our (Pranav & Aaditya) first time participating in the walkathon through Help Foundation. We are inviting you to support and encourage us on our journey to make a positive impact on our community. **Veda Malyala: A Journey in Dance and Music**

Veda Malyala is a rising sophomore at Woodbridge Academy Magnet School. She began learning Bharatanatyam at the age of eight under the guidance of Guru Smt Premini Thanan. Over the years, Veda has participated in numerous group performances with the Bharatha Arangam Dance Institute, cherishing the cultural connection and creative expression that Bharatanatyam provides. In addition to dance, Veda has cultivated her musical talents, having trained in Tenor Saxophone during her elementary and middle school years. Currently, she is also training in Piano, Veena and Carnatic Classical Vocal music. Her passion for music and art are a significant source of inspiration and motivation.

I want to extend my heartfelt gratitude to everyone who has supported me on this journey. Performing my Arangetram is a dream come true, and I seek your blessings for this day and for my future endeavors. I could not have achieved this without the help of my guru or the support of both my family and friends. I dedicate my performance to my late paternal and maternal grandfathers, who always made others around them smile. I want to continue spreading their joy and kindness by empowering underprivileged children.
