Joyful Holidays for Local Children in Need
I'm a volunteer with HHHD and have been for 15+ years. This organization provides opportunities for children that many families would not be able to provide. One of the highlights is that each child gets to pick two toys from “The Toy Room/Santa Room.” For some, these may be the only toys they get for the season.
We are very excited to announce that we have been invited to have our event at the GICC, Georgia International Conference Center, near the Atlanta airport. The GICC will be launching their first event of this type, alongside ours, so we will be servicing many more less fortunate families in the College Park/Atlanta area. As this is a fantastic opportunity, we will be nearly doubling the invitees to this event, so we will need twice as many toys. If you would like to purchase toys, they can be delivered to the following address:
Family Chiropractic
6703 Shannon Pkwy Ste 14
Union City, GA 30291
However, I am hoping many of you folks will find it very easy to donate right here, and I will be happy to do the leg work myself.
Helping Hands Holiday Dinner is a private, 501(C3) non-profit organization run exclusively by volunteers since its 1989 inception. Providing a day of fun during the holiday season for those less fortunate is what the volunteers work towards.
On average, up to 10,000 people annually came to Henderson’s Arena in College Park to enjoy such activities as arts and crafts, carnival rides and games, entertainment, dinner, and toys for the children. All of this is absolutely free to our guests.
