Join the Fight Against Hunger: Help Us Build a New Pantry
You can help fight food insecurity by donating today to Helping Hands of Paulding County, Inc., a 501(c ) 3 Georgia nonprofit committed to addressing Hunger and Poverty in Paulding County. Today we humbly ask for your assistance as we work fast to open the doors to a much-needed food pantry center for Paulding County.
Helping is our first name:
Helping Hands provides essential services including food, clothing, and compassionate services to prevent a hunger crisis in the community. Access to healthy and fresh food translates to better health outcomes and fewer missed days of school and work. The goal is to make sure that no resident faces the uncertainty of where their next meal may come from.
The need:
Hunger is on the rise, and Helping Hands is dedicated to being part of the solution. With 1 in 8 Georgians—and 1 in 5 children—facing food insecurity, and nearly 10% of Paulding County residents affected, the need for our services has never been greater .Many of our clients live paycheck to paycheck, often just a single accident, job layoff, or illness away from hunger or eviction. Last year, the pantry saw an 18% increase in client visits and a 9% increase in food distribution—and the demand continues to grow.
A new pantry hub for the community:
To address this urgent situation, we have launched this GoFundMe campaign to help open the doors to new food pantry facility in Dallas, Georgia. The pantry will be centrally located in Dallas, allowing easy access for clients and the ability to significantly increase food, clothing, and human services capabilities all under one roof.
Our goal is to raise $400,000 to secure this facility so that we can continue to combat hunger and provide a range of support services, including job skills training, healthcare access, mental health, and housing assistance.
Your gift will make a difference in the lives of many and help us avert a hunger crisis in Paulding County.
