Want to join us in making a difference? We're raising funds to benefit the Herndon-Reston FISH Holiday Food & Gift Program for local families in need. We depend on neighbors, like you, to help us fund this effort!

We need your help! During the winter holidays, Herndon-Reston FISH provides non-perishable food, a grocery card for fresh food, toys for kids, and gift cards for teens.
Here’s how you can help: You can easily help now by sponsoring $25 gift cards for gifts for children and teens. This is an excellent opportunity for you to make a student smile with your kindness and generosity. As little as a $100 donation will provide four children with one or two gifts for the holidays.
Last year, FISH assisted about 250 households, over 900 people, including more than 400 children! We would like to assist as many people, if not more this year. There are many families in our area struggling financially.
More information about Herndon Reston FISH: Herndon-Reston FISH, Inc. (FISH) is a nonsectarian, nonprofit 501(c)3 organization dedicated, for over 50 years, to providing "Friendly Instant Sympathetic Help" to local residents in short-term financial crises. FISH volunteers and a small staff respond immediately to stop crises from escalating to long-term problems. FISH receives assistance requests for rent, utilities, medical prescriptions, critical dental care, and other critical needs.
