Donate Laptops for Eritrean Refugees and Tigray Students
Dear Friends and Supporters,
At HLNNA Foundation, we're on a mission to empower children in Africa by providing them with access to education and information through the donation of laptops. We are starting this crucial mission by focusing on Ethiopia, particularly the Tigray region, which experienced the devastating impacts of civil war two years ago, and Eritrean refugees in Ethiopia who are victims of war. Many of these children are in limbo, as the primary focus has been on survival rather than education.
We have recently secured a significant opportunity to acquire refurbished laptops at just $50 each, thanks to our nonprofit efforts. These laptops come equipped with software valid until 2029, ensuring long-term usability for their recipients.
Our goal is ambitious yet vital: to purchase up to 1000 laptops initially. Of these, 500 will be distributed to Eritrean refugees in Ethiopia and 500 to deserving students across universities in Tigray region of Ethiopia. By providing these children with access to technology, we aim to offer them a chance to learn and grow despite the challenging circumstances they face.
