About Homegirl Industry

The Homegirl Industry mission is to provide a living, learning, & growing place, for foster youth alumni females. Providing longer term transitional housing, job skills training & employment, we place emphasis on education, social responsibility, & patriotism. Our strategy includes Drama & Visual Art Therapy & internship program partnerships with HBCU's & other Alabama colleges & universities. Our goal is to provide meaningful services in order to guide at-risk young women into becoming self-sufficient, positive & contributing members of society, breaking the cycle of foster youth alumni having children that end up in foster care. We currently seek funding for architectural/engineering planning for the restoration of a registered historic Alabama hotel.
