Run to Fly: Round 2!
Hello everyone!!
I am beyond excited to be launching round two of the Run to Fly challenge Run to Fly started in November of 2023 where I ran ten 10ks in 10 days in 10 Kentucky counties to benefit Honor Flight Kentucky. For round 2, I’ll be running ten more 10ks for the next 10 days in 10 new counties!
The goal of Honor Flight Kentucky is to fly World War II, Korean War, Vietnam War Veterans and veterans of subsequent incursions to Washington, D.C. for a one day all expense paid visit to their memorials that are dedicated to their service and sacrifices.
Last round, we raised $1,300 which was over DOUBLE our goal. Can we surpass this for round two??!!
As George Washington said, “The willingness with which our young people are likely to serve in any wars, no matter how justified, shall be directly proportional to how they perceive the Veterans of earlier wars were treated and appreciated by their nation”. The difference begins with us. Join me in making a difference for our Veterans and to give them the honor they deserve❤️
