Hood River County Heritage Council (The History Museum of Hood River County)

Want to join me in supporting local history? I'm raising money to benefit Hood River County Heritage Council (501c3 nonprofit that manages The History Museum of Hood River County). Part of the museum's collection (1500 objects) stored off-site had to be moved to a new and improved storage location, which is a large unexpected cost for our nonprofit. Our ongoing storage costs are quite large compared to our small budget. You can help protect the historic treasures in the museum's collection for future generations. The History Museum is a vibrant center for engaging all people in a better understanding of our community's heritage that preserves the past, relates it to the present and shapes our future. The objects in the museum's collection belong to everyone in Hood River County. Even if you don't live here, I hope you feel a small sense of responsibility to help keep history alive.
