HERO Hound Rescue

HERO Hound Rescue is a small rescue, but we try to do big things including saving pups who have big medical needs.

In 2022, we pulled several pups who needed extensive surgeries, amputations, heartworm treatments & other specialized medical care. Each of these cases was costly, but each of these pups was more than deserving of getting their own happily ever after.

Hero Hound Rescue & Hero West Rescue need your assistance to pay medical bills for several pups that we recently brought into our care. These pups needed urgent medical attention and were in kill shelters here in West Tennessee.

 

In 2022, we pulled Chance, Nia, Taco, Parker and several other pups that needed immediate medical care to give them a chance of survival. In kill shelters in Tennessee, medical and seniors are the first to be euthanized due to a lack of community funds for animal shelters. Most of these pups we pulled later tested heartworm positive, which is a significant expense in addition to their urgent medical needs that caused us to pull them in the first place.
