Breonna - House of Hope
Breonna has experienced trauma since she was placed in foster care as a toddler. When she was a year old the state notified her father of her wonderful presence on this earth. He gained custody a year later. Breonna's father and her extended family, with whom she resides, all consider her a beautiful addition to our family. She has brought us both abundant joy and immense despair. We desperately want her to receive the care and healing she deserves.
Recently, we became unequivocally aware that our family simply is not equipped to serve all the needs she has regarding her mental health. We want to offer her the chance to know joy. Over the past three months she has had numerous hospital stays, outpatient therapy, and family therapy, yet she continues to regress emotionally and behaviorally. We all (Breonna included) feel it that extensive residential therapy, such as that offered by House of Hope, would be the best course of action for Breonna.
House of Hope residential stays last from 12 to 18 months costing as much as $33,000. Your thoughts, prayers, well wishes and financial assistance are all welcome and appreciated.
