House of Prayer Ministries is a Congregation located in Gaithersburg, Montgomery County, Maryland. We have grown from a service in a living room to a Condominium Business Unit in Montgomery Village. We are growing quickly in numbers and need your help to procure a building or land that will allow us to continue our expansion and enable us to achieve our Vision and Mission. Our short-term goal is to purchase land and build a House of the Lord that will serve those in need in our vast community. Our long- term goal is to expand our services to provide childcare and early development skills for children, and to cloth and feed the hungry. Our doors are open to people of all backgrounds. Our ministry has attracted members from over 20 countries including Ghana, Togo, Jamaica, Cameroon, Trinidad and Tobago, America, India, Nigeria, Pakistan, Sierra Leone, Liberia, Mali, South Africa, Malawi, Kenya, Zambia, Romania, Puerto Rico, Guatemala, Mexico, El Salvador, Philippines and many more.

Our congregants often travel many miles to attend our services. With a population of over 1 million in Montgomery County, Maryland is a mix of white (42%, Hispanic, 20%, Black, 18%, and Asian, 15%. Our congregation represents members from each. Everyone is welcome. Our diversity attracts a global community. Please join us for a service. Help us achieve our goals. We are a 5013c status church.
