Imagine a world where every teen, no matter their background, has the tools to rise above their challenges, lead with confidence, and create lasting change in their communities. Inspired by Tony Robbins' Global Youth Leadership Summit, which has transformed the lives of young leaders across the world, Coach Ben from Kenya and his wife Kendi dreamed of bringing this same life-changing experience to African youth.

Now, that dream is becoming a reality.

On April 7th, 2025, in Turi, Kenya, the first-ever African Youth Leaders Summit - THABITI will take place! Thanks to a partnership with the Human Unity Gateway Foundation, a U.S.-based non-profit, this summit will equip teens with the mindset, skills, and mentorship they need to become the next generation of African change-makers.

But to make this event possible, we need your help.

Why This Matters

Too often, teens in Africa face overwhelming obstacles—poverty, lack of access to education, and limited opportunities to grow into leaders. THABITI will change that by empowering 200+ teens with 4 days of immersive leadership training at the prestigious St. Andrew’s School in Turi, followed by 6 months of mentorship from international coaches. This isn’t just an event—it’s a movement to create solution-makers who will uplift their communities for years to come.

The Challenge

Since this is the first event of its kind, corporate sponsors require proof of concept before committing funding for future years. That means, for this first year, it has to be a grassroots effort—and this is where YOU come in.

You Can Make a Difference with Any Amount

(each teen cost is $350 in full or $200 to subsidize)

Right now, kids in Kenya are facing a life-or-death situation. Without access to education, leadership development, or a safe home, many are at risk of falling into dangerous paths—drugs, crime, and even sex work. But together, we can change that.

We’re raising money to support two critical initiatives:

The Thabiti African Youth Leadership Summit (April 6-10, 2025):

$200 sponsors a child to attend and gain the leadership skills to transform their future.

Without support, many won’t be able to participate.

VSA Kenya – Giving Disadvantaged Kids a Future Through Education & Football:

$10,000 will build a Resource Center & Shelter—a safe space where kids can learn, study, and find community.

$5,000 will provide a mini-bus so they can attend school and soccer matches.

$1,000 will complete the construction of their soccer pitch.

$500 covers boarding school for one child for a year.

$120 sends a child to school for a year.

$50 feeds a family for an entire month.

$25 covers soccer registration fees so a child can play in the league.

Why This Matters:

I’ve supported VSA Kenya for over 10 years because these kids deserve better. They deserve a chance to grow, to dream, and to build a future. Right now, 30 kids are unable to attend school, and the girls we support don’t even have a place to stay and are at risk. We must build a safe space before it’s too late.
