In honor of my 50th birthday (Yep, I'm saying it out loud, no reason to hide from it or lie) please join me in making a difference in a family's life.

I'm honored to be a board member and raising money to benefit Humble Design, a non-profit organization serving individuals, families and veterans emerging from homelessness by transforming their empty house into a warm, welcoming and uplifting home with donated furnishings and household goods.

My goal is to raise $5000!  
ANY donation, seriously nothing is too small, will help make an impact.   This is the amount it costs to furnish a home for a family, which includes salaries for designers and movers, moving expenses, furniture repair, security, cleaning supplies and other household items.  

It would be the greatest gift to know I was able to make this happen for a family transitioning out of homelessness here in Seattle.

Dear friends and family,

For my mitzvah project, I have decided to work with an organization called Humble Design . Humble Design furnishes homes for families transitioning from homelessness. They take donated household goods to transform empty, cold houses into warm, welcoming and uplifting homes. Working with Humble Design appealed to me because I am interested in interior design and I want to help people that are less fortunate than me.  

For my project I am planning to help furnish ONE COMPLETE HOUSE for a family in need. In order to do this, I need to raise $3,000 to cover the cost of moving and set up for the home. I will be working with the design team to move, clean and decorate the home. I will then be able to witness the reveal as the family sees their newly decorated home.  I can't wait to be a part of this.

I am raising the money in 3 different ways.
     1. This Go fund me campaign.  
     2.  I will donate $750 of my own money to this cause. 
     3.  I have teamed up with Kalamata Greek Grill , who graciously agreed to donate 20% of their profits on Thursday, April 25, 2019. I am hoping you all can join me there for dinner from 5-10 pm for fun and fundraising to support this important cause.  I will be sending out more information about this later.
