HVAF of Indiana, Inc

Hello, my name is Grace Otey and I would like to ask for your help to support our veterans through volunteerism and or donations. I’ve recently learned that the HVAF of Indiana food pantry (Helping Veterans and Families) is severely understocked, and there is an emergent need for cash donations to replenish their pantry. My heart breaks to know that there are veterans and their families that have given so much of themselves for our safety and freedom that might be turned away without the assistance that they need. I personally set aside 10% of my weekly allowance and have accumulated a balance of $328 over the last 3 1/2 years. I also volunteered to pick up trash after the Indianapolis 500 race this year and the Speedway Post 500 is going to pay me $500 which I will in turn donate directly to HVAF along with my $328 that I have personally saved. I am asking for donations to help support this organization. All money collected will be donated directly to HVAF.

HVAF helps homeless and at-risk veterans return to self-sufficiency. for the past 3 years I have participated in Hoagies and Hops 18'' Hoagie eating competition to raise money for HVAF.

I am going for my 4th win in a row and probably my last showing, so this year I am trying to raise a good bit of money for HVAF.

I had the record for eating at 4:11 seconds then Joey Chestnut came into Indy and broke it at 3:30 seconds. Last year I did it in 3:08 to retake the record.

I am consistently getting 9 inches down in about a minute so it should be a good showing.
