To celebrate his 9th birthday, Jackson would like to share soccer, his favorite sport, with more kids. In lieu of gifts, please help support him by making a donation to iACT's Refugees United Soccer Academy (RUSA) which brings soccer to children affected by war and conflict. RUSA utilizes soccer to teach teamwork, respect, responsibility and pride to children in refugee camps around the world including Mexico, Armenia and Africa.

Members of the World Unity Football Alliance  are raising funds in honor of Mubarak Khamis and to support his teammates and family during these challenging times. Khamis, a gentle, kind young man lost his life in late July 2020. 

Khamis played for Darfur United , the all-refugee team, and participated in world cups in with his team in Iraq (2012) and Sweden (2014). He would have been a part of the squad that was to compete at the 2020 World Football Cup in North Macedonia, which was canceled due to the global pandemic.

The funds collected through this page will go to cover funeral and memorial services and to support his mother, a recent widow, living in a refugee camp in eastern Chad. iACT , the nonprofit that manages Darfur United, will make sure the funds get used for the intended purposes.
