Energized by this milestone, and paving the way for 35 more years of success, we ask for your support. Our $50,000 fundraising goal is ambitious, but the power of our work transcends anything that can be measured in dollars.
Our CHILDREN are BOLD - 98% of our graduates go on to college, competent and confident with cultural currency
Our FAMILIES are THRIVING - growing community businesses with the support of our Financial Education Institute
Our IMPACT is ever EVOLVING - offering grants and fellowships to the artists that preserve and teach our cultural vocabularies
Now, after decades of nurturing leaders and love, Ifetayo is on a new level.
We are expanding programming into media literacy, STEAM and social innovation; evolving impact into community investment, creative capacity building and wellness; and empowering our alumni who weave the thread of Ifetayo values through their lives as leaders in organizations, businesses, public service, and advocacy. We hold in our hands many of the promises that were once just a vision.
Love is the road Ifetayo traveled from 929 Flatbush to the St Mark's Day School and to our current home in the heart of Crown Heights at the Bedford Armory. We are grateful for each win along the journey.
On the occasion of our 35th anniversary, looking out on a horizon that extends beyond the next 35 years, we are most grateful for our children. They are gifted. They are rooted. They are winged. They are loved.
