Bring Joy to Migrant Children at Fiesta
On Sunday, April 27th, 2025, Iglesia Luterana Santa María Peregrina will celebrate “El Día del Niño.”

On this day, we want to bring hope and joy to the children and youth of the migrant community in our region by having a Fiesta with food, games, music, and entertainment geared towards them. Help us reach our goal. We want to have a clown, a DJ, games, food, and activities for the children and young people who are experiencing fear and anxiety given the current anti-immigrant political climate. Help us give joy to our migrant families and their children.

Santa María's Mission: Sanctuary and Shelter
Iglesia Luterana Santa María Peregrina is a faith community committed to advocating for the rights of immigrants, women, LGBTQIA+, and all marginalized groups. As we pray and prepare for the challenges ahead, we ask for your financial support.

We are currently working with Faith in the Valley and the California Community Land Trust Network so that we can acquire a land lot, so that we can build a sanctuary and affordable housing units for our mixed-status families.

After years of struggle and service, Rev. Nelson Rabell-González is finally being installed as pastor if Iglesia Luterana, Santa María - Peregrina (Lutheran Church of Holy Mary, Pilgrim) on Sunday, April 21, 2024. To help this community to celebrate their resilience and the power of their witness, we are asking friends of the community to contribute $5200.00, all of which is going to local Latiné businesses in the region. Help us make the #ILSMPfiesta a reality!
