MTI School of Knowledge

Masjid Al Fajr (IMCA) is the first masjid ever built in Indiana.  It is old, small but loved by our community.  Unfortunately, our community is one that is very low income predominately refugees, Yemeni and West/East Africans.  We are a very generous community, however, we have found ourselves in a financial crisis.  Our funds will barely last us till the end of January and currently have a few thousand dollars in our bank account.  

We know there is a great reward for building a masjid but there is also just as great of a reward for keeping the doors of a masjid open.  We don't want to have to shut down our masjid and we are calling on anyone who is reading this to please donate to our masjid.  We have linked this gofundme to the Masjid bank account.

As you know, MTI is the 1st full-time Islamic School in the state of Indiana. Sending every graduating senior to Umrah was a dream of MTI's founders beginning with the first graduating class in 1997. We achieved this dream for the first time last year. This year, we would like to continue this tradition by sending this year’s seniors to Umrah.
The students are very excited to experience this spiritual journey. In the attached video, you can see our students talk about why they look forward to going. For some, it will be their first time going and thus a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. And for all, it will be a chance to strengthen their bond with Allah (swt) and take a step in the direction of becoming a better Muslim.
