Nautical Safety Foundation
A fun loving family is playing on the beach or walking
along the docks looking at the boats when all
of a sudden one of them trips and falls into deep fast moving water. If only he or she had a life jacket to wear.
The Nautical Safety Foundation Mission is to provide local organizations much needed water safety items to prevent drownings. There is a tremendous need for life jackets and other water safety items throughout our Portland/Metro area, all of Oregon and Southwest Washington to make boating and water based activities safer for everyone.
Since our start in 2013 we have supplied over 5,000 new life jackets to numerous groups such as Safe Kids coalitions in Oregon, US Coast Guard Auxiliaries, the Daughters of Neptune, Boys Scouts of America, and the Army Corps of Engineers Recreational Parks. In the future we want to expand beyond life jackets and provide kiosks, life guard supplies, and even river patrol water safety items.
We need your financial help to continue this valuable effort of providing life jackets and other water safety related items. A small $30 donation can purchase 4 comfortable to wear, 3 buckle life jackets and potentially save four lives.
Remember an empty kiosk is useless.
Please help by funding this project.
