Claridge Park and Home Ave DIY Skateparks
Involvement Advocacy d/b/a The Collaboratory, Dayton's non-profit civic innovation lab, is excited to partner with the City of Dayton, which has approved the building of a DIY Skatepark in Claridge Park at 1400 Webster Street in Dayton.
Our team of dedicated skateboarders and community members is building Dayton’s FIRST skatepark, and we need your support! Claridge DIY Park construction began in 2021 with the help of many generous donors and volunteers. Phase 2 of the process is well underway, with the completion of the skatepark set for spring 2023. Claridge Skatepark DIY is already providing a free recreational space for the community and an opportunity for youth to make skateboarding their passion.
All funds raised will be used to build Claridge DIY Park and make it accessible to underserved communities.
Follow Claridge DIY Park on Instagram and Facebook, for updates on construction, fundraisers, and exciting partnerships.
Upon completion of Claridge DIY Park, The Collaboratory will be finalizing our agreement with City of Dayton to complete the previously-rogue Home Ave DIY located in west Dayton. Follow Home Ave DIY on Instagram.
