Ireland Lacrosse Box World Championship 2024 (w)
Help us compete in the FIRST EVER Women's Box Lacrosse World Championship in Utica, New York. To make this trip possible, we need YOUR help!
Ireland has supported the growth of women's box lacrosse since 2021. While this will be the first World Championship event, the Irish team will be well tested heading to Utica, having been working and playing together since 2022. Members of the team have been competing in various box events together as Team Éire, or individually/small groups in the English Winter League or Women's Major Series League. A number of players are no strangers to international competition, having caps from the Field portion of the Women's National Programme.
Ireland Lacrosse is a 100% volunteer-led organization, which makes our team dependent on membership fees, fundraising, donations and payments from players to support the continued development of the sport throughout the country. All funds raised are to provide our players with equipment, apparel, meals, training facilities, lodging, travel and miscellaneous costs that arise during the World Championship.
The contributions from this campaign will benefit the team as a whole, offsetting the cost players will need to pay to attend and ensure the next generation of athletes get to play at one of the most prestigious stages.
Not only will your donation be supporting the dreams of a group of young lacrosse players, but it is also tax deductible for those in the USA.
