ISKCON Youth Ministry

We need a new bus for our youth tours and mission trips. Our current bus is 19 years old and becoming unreliable, breaking down frequently. Please contribute towards this good cause and help us spread the word.

Since 1995, for the past 30 years, ISKCON Youth Ministry bus tours have been providing immersive, transformational experiences in Krishna consciousness for hundreds of youth and young adults. Our goal is to inspire the next generation to spread this joyful Hare Krishna movement, Sanatana Dharma to every town and village.

In the mid 1970s, when devotees were traveling in old GM buses spreading Krishna consciousness across North America, the Founder-Acharya of our movement wrote to one of the organizers:

“Your suggestion to get new buses is good. I always recommended that. I don't like old vehicles. I think one hundred buses are not sufficient for America." –Srila Prabhupada, Letter to Tamal Krsna Goswami, Dec 20, 1976

$2000 for prasadam costs. Please support us for the coming year! We're raising money for our Alachua Youth Bhagavad Gita Study Program. For over 15 years, my husband and I have been providing weekly scripture study for the youth in Alachua. We meet each week with high school and a college-aged students. We get 15-30 participants each week. We chant japa, read and discuss sacred literature, and then provide a 4-course prasadam meal (many come for the prasadam :) Last year, we had our 5th fundraiser for this program, and our community came out to support our cause in just over 24 hrs. For many years, we paid for the prasadam costs out of our own pockets. We am asking for help for this year's programs to continue. We only need $50 per week to sponsor the prasadam. That's $2000 for 10 months of programming for our youth.
