Al Kauthar Institute is a girl's Madrassah based in the heart of Queens, NY. We have been blessed to serve the community for over 6 years now, providing them with various part-time and full-time programs.

As we cater to a large audience in a small space, many carpets have become worn down. The rooms are also in need of being repainted. It is our hope to renovate the Madrassah during the summer so that our students can come back to a fresh new place.

We would greatly appreciate any contribution and we pray that Allah accept your efforts in assisting the students to knowledge.

In this world we have the opportunity to be a part of something bigger than ourselves. Al Kauthar Institute began with a similar hope, to nurture students who can serve as guiding lights for the Ummah. We are a small Madrassah based in Queens, NY. Our mission is to cultivate an Islamic environment to keep the legacy of our beloved Prophet ﷺ alive. Our efforts are to pass on his message, so that it may go from person to person and eventually illuminate his teachings across the world. This is all in hopes of bringing the Ummah together.

To achieve this, we offer a six-year certification program that links the student to our beloved Prophet ﷺ and empowers them to learn, love and live by the Quran, thereby spreading this light to others. This is known as the Alima course, and it is one of the four courses that we provide at Al Kauthar. By the grace of Allah, we are honored to host our second graduation ceremony to commemorate the completion of these six years by our students. This ceremony will also celebrate students who have completed the memorization of the Holy Quran through our Hifz course.

To accommodate for this graduation, funds will be needed. Despite our humble beginnings, we hope to give our students a ceremony that reflects all the hard work they have put in throughout their years of study. Donated funds will directly be used to rent a space, cater food, fly in various scholars, and prepare gifts for the graduates. Anything left over will be used for various Madrassah expenses. Every penny will go towards the students of Deen.
