Help Us Better Serve The At-Risk Youth Of Pensacola!

We are raising funds to help finish the build-out of a new space we were given.

I'm raising money to benefit James B. Washington Education and Sports, Inc., and any donation will help finish out our new space and make a positive impact on the youth of Pensacola, Florida.

James B. Washington Education and Sports, Inc. provides academic tutorial programs for underprivileged and at-risk youth between the ages of 6 and 16 to implement the importance of education and promote higher education. We also cultivate our youth by providing enrichment and life skills development, extracurricular activities, such as art, basketball, educational field trips, and other youth enrichment programs.

James B. Washington Education & Sports is growing. We have been operating for over the past 3 years out of a 1500 square foot space. Through all of the amazing work, dedication, and commitment of many volunteers over the years the program has grown well beyond the use of that space. We have had to turn kids away on a regular basis.

While looking for a larger space, we found a building on Navy Blvd that was large enough to allow us to put in much larger classrooms, an art space, and a place to hold athletic events and training for our basketball programs. Through a generous donor, we have been able to acquire the facility, BUT it is a bare shell on the inside. This is why we are asking for help from the community to raise funds to complete the inside build out that we have estimates costing over $300,000.
