About Jerry Adams Aquatics Resilience Program

Jerry Adams Aquatics Resilience (“JAAR”) Program is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that teaches specialized water-safety swim lessons to children with disabilities, mental illnesses, and/or those in the foster care system. Our team is committed to ending drownings, which are preventable tragedies. JAAR Program provides 12 free, private, water-safety swim lessons along with free equipment to neurodiverse participants. We provide healthy role models in a consistent safe space to build up mentally fit children. JAAR Program believes that by focusing on both physical and mental health, we can stop drownings while equipping children with the skills they need to face, and overcome, life’s adversities.
