Jiangxi China Orphan Aid

Jiangxi China Orphan Aid works with Amity Foundation in China to provide Hugging Grannies in the orphanages as well as special education teachers and physical therapists. We sponsor foster care and also schooling outside the orphanage, including university. Hi, my name is Maresa Blanchard and I am from Houston, Texas. I am a current senior at Ridge Point High School, and I will be raising money to buy a “Hugging Granny” to assist children in an orphanage in Jiangxi, China. I was adopted from Jiangxi, China and chose to raise money for my senior LOC (Leading Our Community) project to give back to orphans in China. I also have three other siblings who were adopted from China; therefore, I believe this project will be very impactful for not only the orphans but myself and my family as well. I am working with Peggy Gurrad from China Orphan Aid and she will be managing to get the Hugging Granny together. Any donation helps, thank you!
