GIVING TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 28TH
Hello, friends of Justice for All Ventura County. As you consider all the worthy organizations that need support, we hope you will include a donation to JFAVC.
Our goal for this campaign is $2,500. How is the money used?
Over the past year, we organized the community to:
• Support protections of Roe v Wade and California Proposition 1
(Indivisible Ventura and Ventura County Reproductive Rights Network)
• Demand common sense gun control as co-sponsor of “March for Our Lives” with Brady United Against Gun Violence
• Hear our social justice message at booths during community events in Ventura, Simi Valley, Oxnard and Port Hueneme
• Join “Bans Off Our Bodies” with Diversity Collective and Planned Parenthood
• Celebrate Juneteenth with the MLK Committee and all Ventura County residents
• Stand with Veterans for Peace in solidarity with Ukraine
• Partner with ICE Out of Ventura County on behalf of undocumented residents
• Reach out to students at CSUCI at their Civic Engagement Fair
• Continue to REGISTER VOTERS!
Continuing the efforts, we need to be ready to mobilize whenever a threat to social justice requires that we raise our voices and show our political strength. Your donation allows us to organize and pay for:
• Creation and printing of flyers, brochures and other informational handouts
• Event permit fees, taxes and insurance
• Rental of dumpsters and porta-potties
• Administrative necessities (website, contact lists, Zoom subscriptions, etc.)
