On September 1, a tornado ripped through KC Pet Rescue, an animal shelter in Morrilton/Plumerville, Arkansas that has placed hundreds of dogs in homes in the New England area. The damages are still being assessed but as of right now, the rescue is in desperate need of our help to cleanup and rebuild, and provide necessary care for any animals that were harmed during these awful storms today.
I personally adopted two dogs from KC Pet Rescue in the past while residing in Enfield, CT. Clarissa, the director, helped bring me my two wonder girls, Divi and Belle, and now she needs our help. I'm starting this fundraiser in hope that anyone who has brought home a dog through KC Pet Rescue will help us give back to the organization that has given us so much love from our fur babies.

KC Pet Rescue is a non-profit, no-kill, volunteer emergency dog rescue organization based in Arkansas, licensed and registered in the state of CT. KC has been holding adoption events locally in New England since 2013. They are dedicated to rescuing dogs left homeless, dogs in public shelters where they are at high risk of euthanasia due to pet overpopulation, dogs given up by their owners because of difficult circumstances, and those in danger of abuse or neglect. They strive to work with area shelters and other rescue and humane organizations to develop a network of supporters and volunteers in order to create a better world for our pets.
