KCAA (Kunsmiller Creative Arts Academy)
There are two arts magnet programs in Denver, KCAA and Denver School of the Arts (DSA). Unlike DSA, KCAA has the future artists of Denver. The school is diverse with more than 70% of the student body identifying as Latinx and about 80% of the school on free or reduced-priced lunches (before Colorado's new school lunch law). The school is also incredibly underfunded. Buses, field trips, after-school programs, and more are considered "nice-to-have" at this school, never mind working water stations.
