Greetings,
This Giving Tuesday, we invite you to join us in transforming lives and creating brighter futures for children and families in Los Angeles. We’ve embarked in a groundbreaking initiative—the Kedren Children’s Village—a place where comprehensive mental health services and family support come together in one dedicated space. On Tuesday, December 3, 2024, we ask for your contribution that will help us address the shortage and growing need for these services.
The Kedren Children’s Village will demonstrate the first of its kind, best practice “village” concept dedicated to children and families; ensuring a full continuum of care is available to provide our clients with the right care at the right time and at the right place.
These services include:
- Los Angeles County’s only children and youth acute psychiatric inpatient and crisis residential treatment programs.
- Mental Health Urgent Care (Crisis Stabilization), Outpatient, and Intensive Care Management services.
- Social and rehabilitation services.
- A Federally Qualified Healthcare Center (FQHC) for primary and specialty health care.
- A pharmacy.
- Transitional housing for families experiencing homelessness.
Collectively, these services are designed to increase access to care while minimizing disruption in the life of the child, youth, and family. Your donations will help attain furniture for our primary care exam rooms and therapy spaces. To donate, please visit kedren.org/donate.
As a thank you, donations over $5,000 will be placed on our donor wall with specialty recognitions at $5,000, $10,000, and $25,000 levels. Email or call our office for donations of $50,000 or larger.
Your support can make this vision a reality. On this Giving Tuesday and with your contribution, we are taking a step toward creating a legacy of hope, healing, and empowerment.
With gratitude, thank you for being a part of our journey,
Gregory Polk, CEO
