The Winning Ticket
11/27/1997 - The day I won the lottery. Many of you know, but for those who don’t, I was adopted from Moscow, Russia at 18 months old.
If you want to know more about my story, please reach out at any time. I’m happy to share with anyone. But my story is not important right now.
The story of 100,000 Ukrainian Orphans is what’s important. The unwritten story for so many children who are waiting on their winning lottery ticket for a chance at life, a family, and a future.
Since Russia invaded, Ukrainian adoptions to the US have been paused. Without means or money, orphanages are dependent on the help of churches and non-profits to escape Ukraine for safety.
My blood may be Russian, but my heart will always be American. I am ashamed of Russia’s actions. Please do not hold all Russians accountable for the actions of the government. I am proud and blessed to be an American, and a Texan.
I have decided to donate to Kidsave. You have my word that I have personally verified their credibility on IRS.gov and Charitynavigator.org. Their EIN number is 91-1887623 for your own reference. I created this GoFundMe to collect additional donations. 100% will go to Kidsave directly.
I will match friends and family donations to my GoFundMe up to $500. Don’t let that be the maximum, set it as the minimum.
Help save the Ukrainian Orphans. Donate and give the children that ticket to win their own lottery.
