Klamath Falls Downtown Association

Want to join us in making a difference? We are raising money to benefit the KFDA (Klamath Falls Downtown Association) mural project. The “Greetings from Klamath Falls, Oregon” mural by Artists Katie Daisy and Karen Eland is aimed to create a memorable landmark through public art. Katie and Karen have been working collaboratively since 2013. In the past several years, their art has transformed blank walls of cafes, restaurants, distilleries, retail locations, visitor centers, airports, and homes into vibrant and whimsical scenes. The theme of this mural project was inspired by the cheery “Greetings from…” vintage postcards that were popular during the 1930s through 1950s. The mural will be painted at ground level on Main St., with its design optimized for social media photo opportunities and engagement. The mural will serve as a giant welcome sign in the heart of downtown Klamath Falls, Oregon.

The KFDA is collaborating with different organizations to make this project possible but they need support from our local community members! For the first twelve $200 or more contributions, you will be honored as a “letter sponsor” for the mural. They will appreciate any contribution towards this campaign to beautify our downtown through public art!! Thanks in advance for your contribution!!

More information about The Klamath Falls Downtown Association (KFDA). The KFDA is an affiliate of the national Main Street America program. Among many principles, KFDA believes in downtown revitalization, historic preservation, shopping local and supporting the small businesses that are the cornerstone of our community. Every day, they advocate on behalf of not only the downtown merchants but the community as a whole so that our rich history is preserved and future generations are proud to call Klamath Falls home.
