Caru Utah is fundraising
Salt Lake City Temple Construction
Since its opening in 2001 the Spanish Fork Krishna Temple has hosted 1/4 million attendees at Festivals, 1/2 million tourists, and 35,000 school children on field trips.
Imagine the good a similar building could do right in the heart of Salt Lake City, on 4 acres of land, just 30 blocks from the State Capitol: Festivals, Yoga Classes, School Field Trips, Non Profit Event Rentals, Retreats, Cuisine, Special Events, on and on...
The cost will be 1.5 million of which we have pledges for $ 750,000: about 1/2 of the total cost.
Construction is under way. Anyone is welcome to visit the site @ 965 East 3370 South, Sugarhouse.
Much of the raised funds to date have been spent, so if the community will kindly help with the additional fund raising, there will be no interuption of construction due to lack of funds.
Our hope is to have the Grand Opening by Diwali (Oct 21) 2017.
