Help Fund Living Costs for Dedicated Teachers
We are excited to announce the relaunch of the English program at the local elementary school in El Cuyo, Nicolás Bravo. From October, two dedicated teachers (living in El Lugarcito and supported by us) will provide children with daily English classes.
While we are actively seeking local sponsors to support this program, the tourism season has been slower than expected, leaving us with funding gaps. That’s where we need your help!
How You Can Help:
1. Donate to cover housing, food, and transportation costs for our teachers.
2. Share our campaign with friends and family.
3. Follow us @elcuyolugarcito on Facebook and Instagram for updates and exciting news!
Why english teachers?
Learning English is vital in a tourist town, as it enables locals to access job opportunities in the tourism sector that often require communication with international visitors. Without English skills, locals risk being bypassed for jobs, leading to economic challenges and potential displacement from their community.
Together, we can make a lasting impact on this community by providing a quality English education to the next generation.
Thanks!
