KULPMONT FIRE TRUCK 1000 MILE HIKE
A 1000 mile hike to honor firefighters, first responders, emergency personnel and all those that perished in the 911 attacks. This September 11th is the 20 th anniversary of the attacks. Donations are sought to help pay for a new fire truck for Kulpmont, Pa. 17834. Kulpmont has an all volunteer fire department and seriously need a new firetruck because having updated equipment is vital to the safety and welfare of the community.
The hike will start at Clingman's Dome, N.C. to Pine Grove, Pa. on the Appalachian Trail; a distance of 1000 miles over a four month period. A daily travel log will be posted regularly on Facebook.
I am asking for donations to replace a 1988 fire truck.
