KxP Campaigns

These six courageous women evacuated Afghanistan during the Taliban takeover of Afghanistan in the Summer of 2021. All served as Judges at various levels in the Afghanistan court system, and their lives were threatened as a result of their leadership positions. Leaving their homes, friends, and country was not an easy task. Many spent months on US military bases while attempting to resettle here in the United States. Since resettling in the DMV area, their families have continued to face challenges finding stable housing, employment, and schooling for their kids.

These incredible women and their families need assistance as they build a life that ensures their families' safety and freedom to continue the work they are passionate about. Their immediate assistance needs include:

Rental assistance

Technology (laptop, phones, etc.)

Professional clothes

ESL programming for themselves and their children

Two of the Jurists' families are pictured below. This campaign will be accepting donations until December 31, 2022.
