About Lake Charles Pit Bull Rescue

Our mission is change the public perception of the breed,through education, proper training, and positive examples of the breed. Through changing the public perception of the breed it is our goal to bring forth a day where every dog is judged based on individual personality traits, not appearance.  All of our dogs are spayed/neutered, up to date on shots, micro-chipped, and heartworm negative before adoption. We also include training with all of our adopted dogs to provide the new family with the proper tools to ensure a happy home. Through our program, The Positive Pit Project, we provide service dogs to veterans suffering from PTSD. We also work with children at the Juvenile Detention Center through our therapy dog program.
