We  know both the rewards and the heartbreak that rescuing an animal can bring. Each day brings joy, sorrow, frustration, disappointment and lots of gratification.  Here at Las Vegas Cocker Rescue we are often faced with the sad reality of not being able to help some of the dogs that come our way simply because we don't have the funds available to pay for the surgery or vet expenses that are necessary to save them.  We try our best.  We try to use all of the resources available to us  and still, at times , we come up short.   
Biscuit  recently came to us because her family couldn't provide the care that she needed.  Sweet Biscuit not only lost an eye as a pup when she got to close to an unfriendly neighborhood cat, but she has a mammary tumor  that needs to be removed and biopsied, numerous lipomas that need to be aspirated,  and  she needs extensive dental work.
Another foster had a ruptured anal tumor that had to be removed and biopsied.
Adorable Banjo wasn't feeling too chipper.  Our Veterinarian checked his teeth...........no wonder he was so unhappy.................7 extractions later, he was smiling again.
All of these sweet dogs are on the road to physical recovery and are either looking for new homes or have found loving families.  Any  financial help from you combined with our volunteer's dedication and hard work can help provide the care necessary to relieve the pain that our Cocker rescues are feeling.  Help us fix the pain in their bodies so that we can also fill the hole in their hearts and find them new loving homes.
