Help The Learning Tree!!
To whoever is reading this: The Learning Tree Cultural Preparatory School, affectionately known as TLT, is in need of your help.
TLT needs to raise $100,000.00 immediately.
Currently, our expenses exceed our income, due to outside funding being cut for the 2019-2020 school year. We are working feverishly to determine and apply to additional funding sources; however, at this time, we are facing a deficit of $100,000.00 .
All donations, no matter the amount, will help TLT climb out of the huge deficit we are currently in.
Please take a moment to click the Donate button and ask family, friends, co-workers, and neighbors to support us by making a donation.

The TLT Community
A Glimpse of TLT:
The Learning Tree Cultural Preparatory School has serviced the Bronx and surrounding communities for the past 40 years by providing a unique education grounded in academic excellence, artistic expression, and cultural and social awareness.
We have pioneered a program that celebrates who we are, encourages each child to embrace their individuality, and challenges their potential. At The Learning Tree, all children are celebrated and their families are valued members of our school community.
Because we believe that learning outside the classroom is as important as learning within, field trips are an integral part of our educational experience. Our field trips are enriching experiences that expose our students to various cultures throughout the United States and the world. Annually, our students visit the Geechee people of Gullah Island and the Amish in Lancaster.
Our eighth grade classes embark on an international trip every Spring and have previously visited Ghana, Paris, Kenya, China, Mexico, New Zealand, Fiji, India, Cuba, Egypt, Peru, Morocco, and Brazil. These experiences help our children learn self-acceptance, confidence, and strong cultural identities.
We also teach our children the importance of community service and charity. We have proudly assisted with planting trees in the Bronx River Park. During our annual coat drive, we consistently donate over 300 coats to help others survive the winter.
We need your help.
