Christmas 2021 is a big one for us here on lehnertz ave …❤️

We have been providing the display for the Aurora community and others who come from surrounding states for 70 years!

The street has always been able to cover its costs by sharing profits from neighborhood garage sales and homeowner donations, and we have refused donations from the community.
That has changed 

70 years of hard winters has taken its toll on many pieces of the original display- primarily the books and the life size resin statues. BECAUSE OF YOU we have been able to replace the books with nearly exact replicas of the originals this year!! We are thrilled and can’t wait for everyone to see them beginning December 12.

There is one more huge expense that has to be replaced as soon as possible - the life size statues of the holy family and animals at the nativity, as well as the 3 kings.


We incorporated as a 501(c)3 in 2017 and have been fundraising since 2019. We have been overwhelmed by the willingness of the community to donate in effort keep the street  going another 70+ years.

The iconic display is not the flashiest, but it well may be one of the most loved Christmas displays in the Chicagoland area. We are touched and humbled but your support.


Replacing the 16 statues we are looking at cost potentially over $20,000. Anything you are able to give is appreciated.
