We are raising $25,500 for Leleka Foundation to buy 3 Vacuum-assisted closure (VAC) devices for Kyiv and Zaporizhya hospitals to treat complex traumatic wounds out of the total target of 12. One set of VAC-device and supplies costs approx. $8,500. Devices will be purchased from a verified supplier in Poland to ensure fastest delivery to the Hospitals.
Why this is important:
Ukraine is brutally shelled and bombed every day. Hundreds of people end up in hospitals severely wounded with the real prospect of losing their limbs and suffering lethal wound infections.
VAC devices are much needed for wound-closure therapy. VAC helps heal wounds and prevents infections. Thus, VAC devices help save lives and prevent major disabilities.
Hospitals are overwhelmed with casualties and heavily lack VAC devices and supplies, which are expensive and need to be purchased abroad.
Please help us support hospitals saving lives in Ukraine in these difficult times.
