Getting stolen $ to Lemon Elemenary
This page has been setup to help offset the financial loss to Lemon Avenue Elementary theft that occurred after the main PTA Halloween Fundraising event. Money was found to be missing at an estimated $3000 that was secured in the office after the tired volunteers left for the weekend.
The school had an enormous turnout with well over 300 PTA family signups - a huge increase from previous years. However, after all was said and done, the numbers didn't add up and the loss is only an approximation based on previous years. It might have been more.
I am grateful for dontations thus far and have faith the community will help to minimize the financial loss for the school. This is a great school with many tenured teachers, an active Garden and many other events.
Who doesn't like to earn a Pajama Day, a Super Hero Day, and great Book Sales? These kids are most respectful and deserve these activities.
I hope you can find it in your hearts to donate anything possible to make up for this loss. If you find me somewhere or at the Carnival next year, I'll buy you some of the delicious corn on the cob, minnestrone soup or what other delicious concoctions the Food team will come up with.
All money will go back to the PTA so the children can continue with regular activities and their parents not having to shell out extra for other activities that continue to build these kids.
